Has no practical use. In older days it was rumored that A Sweaty Cyclops made swords out of pieces of iron, e.g. a Warlord Sword for 100 pieces of iron. There are spawns of piece(s) of iron in Kazordoon, Lost Mines, Thais Troll Cave, Serpentine Tower (White Pearl Quest room inside barel), Amazon Camp (Venore) and possible more. It wasn't possible to stack them back in the day, but now it's possible. Yet to this day so many people just throw them away.
